I’m working with a fast-growing European energy business that is expanding its commercial and origination team in Germany.
They’re looking for a Senior Origination Manager to take ownership of complex energy transactions from initial commercial structuring through to negotiation and close. This is not a pure sales/origination role - you’ll need to be comfortable getting into the detail of deal structures, contractual terms, risk allocation and financing requirements.
You’ll work closely with commercial, finance, legal and project teams to structure and negotiate offtake and other revenue agreements, with a particular focus on flexible energy assets. There will also be some exposure to new project acquisitions and broader commercial transactions as the business continues to grow.
I’m particularly interested in people with 5+ years’ experience across energy origination, commercial structuring, offtake, M&A or project finance, ideally within renewables, energy trading, infrastructure or a similar environment.
You don't need to tick every box, but you should be commercially sharp, confident negotiating complex transactions and able to understand both the commercial opportunity and the risks involved.
If your background sits somewhere between origination, commercial strategy and transaction structuring, I’d be interested in speaking.
