Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Erlangen is seeking a Senior Manager to drive global tax governance and optimize tax-related processes in an international corporate setting.

You will lead projects, manage external services, and implement new applications while promoting best practices and change management across borders.

Qualifications

• University degree and modern project/transformation training, e.g., SAFe.
• Extensive experience leading finance, tax, and transformation projects in international groups.
• Deep knowledge of accounting, GBS, Shared Services, and tax-related processes.
• Hands-on SAP experience and SAP-based process design/implementation.

Responsibilities

• You take on a key role in the development and optimization of global tax governance and, in doing so, shape the future of tax-related processes within an international corporate environment.
• You analyze the interfaces and dependencies between Tax and other corporate functions (e.g., Accounting, HR, and the business areas) and develop sustainable improvement measures to increase efficiency and quality.
• You manage the collaboration with external service providers, are responsible for the corresponding contractual relationships, and ensure effective as well as high-quality service delivery.
• You lead international projects for the implementation of new applications, drive process optimizations, and actively support change processes through professional change management.
• You review existing control structures, identify optimization potential, and promote the global exchange of best practices within the international Tax organization.

Your Qualifications And Experience

• You hold a successfully completed university degree and have further qualified yourself in modern project and transformation methodologies, for example in an agile environment (e.g., SAFe).
• You bring many years of professional experience in leading complex Finance, Tax, and transformation projects within an international corporate environment and have successfully guided strategic initiatives through to implementation.
• You possess in-depth knowledge in the areas of Accounting, Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Service Organizations, as well as a deep understanding of tax-related and adjacent business processes.
• You have extensive hands-on experience with SAP and in the analysis, design, and implementation of business processes in SAP-based environments.

• You are comfortable working in international matrix organizations and successfully collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across countries and functions.

• You have business-fluent written and spoken English skills; additional language skills are an advantage.
