Overview

(Senior) Manager Financial Services Trading and Risk Management (f/m/d). The role is based in Germany with offices in Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich and Stuttgart. Applications for this position can be submitted in German or English.

As experts in the Financial Services sector, we support credit and financial services institutions, payment services and asset managers with customized audit and advisory services on a national and international level.

Responsibilities

  • As the client-facing representative and subject matter expert on capital market-related topics, you analyze and resolve a wide range of issues while developing best practice standards. Your scope includes a broad range of trading and risk management areas, including financial products and operations, crypto and digital assets, market risk management and quantification, trading book requirements, and commodity risk management.
  • Your sharp analytical skills enable you to support clients from an end-to-end perspective.
  • You lead a highly qualified and ambitious team to serve clients in a best-in-class practice, fostering a strong team spirit and a continuous development pathway for your team’s analytical skills.
  • You stay informed about current trends and developments and independently prepare offers and develop your business case.
Qualifications
  • You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, law, or other relevant studies and have more than 4 years of professional experience in Capital Markets or Banking, ideally in Markets, Operations, Treasury, or the Risk Controlling Function within a bank, consultancy, or auditing firm, or within the German regulatory environment.
  • You can analyze complex issues effectively and have strong communication skills in German and English. You can confidently present your work results to clients.
  • You are open-minded, curious, committed, and enjoy your work.
  • You are prepared to take ownership of topics in an audit or advisory project.
  • A solid understanding of financial products including crypto products, trading processes, lifecycle management, key business controls, or regulation such as EMIR, WpHG/MiFID II, and MiCA is advantageous.
