Job summary

We Are Era, a European community economy company with offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris and more, seeks a Senior Finance Lead in Berlin to own end-to-end financial processes, coordinate with the Shared Service Center and drive SAP S/4HANA improvements. You will lead the local accounting team, manage monthly to annual closings, and interface with auditors and tax advisors.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or comparable qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Audit, Finance Operations or Financial Process Management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes with process design and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with monthly and annual closing processes.
• Experience working with auditors and tax advisors.
• First leadership experience and strong stakeholder-management skills.
• Structured, hands-on and process-oriented mindset with interest in automation and AI in Finance.
• Fluent German and English.

• Act as key interface between business, Shared Service Center, RTL Group finance functions, auditors and tax advisors.
• Drive process improvements, internal controls, automation and Finance transformation initiatives.

Job Description

• Own and continuously improve end-to-end financial processes and coordinate accounting and reporting topics with the Shared Service Center and relevant RTL Group finance functions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with auditors and tax advisors.
• First leadership experience and strong stakeholder-management skills.
• Structured, hands-on and process-oriented mindset with an interest in automation and AI in Finance.
• Fluent German and English.
