Job summary

We Are Era in Berlin is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounting professional to own end-to-end processes, lead the local accounting team, and coordinate closing and statutory statements with the Shared Service Center and external auditors.

The role emphasizes SAP S/4HANA expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a drive for automation. Fluent German and English are required for this international team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or comparable qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Audit, Finance Operations or Financial Process Management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, with experience in process design, optimization and stakeholder management across Finance and the wider organization.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with monthly and annual closing processes and ideally working with a Shared Service Center.
• Experience working with auditors and tax advisors.
• First leadership experience and strong stakeholder-management skills.
• Structured, hands-on and process-oriented mindset with an interest in automation and AI in Finance.
• Fluent German and English.

Job Description
