Job summary

RTL Group is seeking a Business Development & Strategy Manager to conduct strategic analyses, build business cases, and coordinate cross-country initiatives across Europe. You will monitor value creation plans and support M&A opportunities while aligning with affiliate teams on market trends.

With a Master’s in economics or business and 2–4 years in an international setting, you will bring entrepreneurial drive and strong MS Office skills, plus fluent English.

Qualifications

• University degree (Master or equivalent) in business administration or economics with an outstanding academic track record.
• Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in Business Development & Strategy in an international context (top-tier consultancy, investment bank, private equity, or multinational in the TMT sector).
• Previous experience or strong affinity for media, streaming, technology and digital business models.
• Dynamic with entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership and create added value for the overall business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid project management and execution orientation.
• Ability to structure complex strategic questions.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at different levels in an organization.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Fluent English (CEFR C2). German a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid project management and execution-oriented skills (eg. well-organized in managing tasks, project documentation)
• Ability to structure complex strategic questions.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at different levels in an organization.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel).
• Perfect command of spoken and written English (CEFR level C2). Other languages, such as German, are a plus.
