Aufgaben

• Create development plans for staff members and provide technical direction within the accounting department.
• Work with managers to improve quality and efficiency across accounting processes.
• Mentor staff accountants on business and accounting practices and staff objective development.
• Ensure GAAP compliance including evaluation of stipends, accounts receivable/payable, payroll and other liabilities.
• Oversee daily operations of AP and AR teams and period-close activities.
• Generate GAAP-based financial statements and site income statements and balance sheets.
• Establish internal controls and develop accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare cash-basis financials for medical groups for tax purposes.
• Collaborate with Assistant Controller/Controller on annual GAAP statements.
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure data supports deadlines.
• Develop procedures to gather data for sound financial planning.

• Work with managers and employees to improve quality and efficiency.


• Participate in staff objective development and management; mentor staff accountants on business and accounting practices.


• Ensure accounting complies with GAAP, including evaluation of stipend and patient accounts receivable, payroll and other liabilities, and ownership equity.


• Oversee daily operations of the AP and AR team.


• Generate GAAP-basis entity financial statements and departmental and site-related income statements and balance sheets.


• Establish and monitor internal controls over assets; develop and write accounting policies and procedures.


• Prepare cash-basis financials for medical groups for tax purposes.


• Work with the Assistant Controller/Controller to prepare annual GAAP-basis financial statements.


• Coordinate annual audits for all entities and ensure fiscal deadlines and required data are met.


• Develop and implement procedures to gather data for sound financial information and planning.


• Ensure timely monthly closing and accurate transaction recording.


• Build and update financial reports and provide meaningful financial analysis.


• Work with Treasury on inter-company transactions and communicate accounting information to physician leadership, financial analysts, and managers.


• Assist with NetSuite bank reconciliation and support EPBCS implementation.


• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce bank fees.


• Work with IT and department managers to ensure inter-departmental projects and operations run smoothly.


• Provide leadership and management for assigned finance functions and help create finance-related service level agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.


• Experience with a large ERP and financial reporting tools preferred.


• Experience with NetSuite, ADP, Coupa and Concur preferred.
