Zusammenfassung

Societe Generale is seeking a highly experienced Java engineer to help design and develop a high-throughput, low-latency trading platform in Frankfurt. You will build core Java components, meet strict latency targets, and collaborate with traders and analysts to deliver real-time features.

The role requires 10+ years in Core Java, deep knowledge of concurrency, memory management, and performance profiling, plus familiarity with CI/CD and AI-assisted tooling in a global team.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Strong experience in Core Java (10+ years) in performance-critical environments.
• Deep expertise in Concurrency, multi-threading, synchronization, executors.
• Memory management, collections, streams, generics.
• Proven experience in low latency / high throughput systems.
• Experience with performance tuning & profiling tools (JMH, JProfiler, VisualVM).
• Solid knowledge of Distributed systems, messaging (JMS), APIs (REST/gRPC).
• Unix/Linux environments and SQL.
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Knowledge of derivatives/trading systems is a strong plus.
• Agile mindset and familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Git, Jenkins).
• Fluent English required.
• Interest or experience in AI-augmented development (Copilot, LLMs).
