As Director (f/m/x) in Java Backend Engineering, you will set the technical direction for high-performance backend systems in a latency-sensitive electronic trading environment and lead a globally distributed engineering team delivering front-to-back trading solutions.

• Expert-level hands-on experience in Core Java, including multithreading, networking, performance optimization.
• Proven track record in designing, developing, and delivering complex front-to-back enterprise systems end-to-end.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and English language skills across business and technical audiences.

Your skills and experiences

• Proven track record in designing, developing, and delivering complex front‑to‑back enterprise systems end‑to‑end.
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures, design patterns, industry frameworks, and engineering best practices.
• Experience implementing high‑performance, fault‑tolerant, and load‑balanced solutions, supported by solid mathematical and algorithmic knowledge.
• Practical experience applying AI within software engineering environments and driving the adoption of AI‑enabled development practices.
• Demonstrated success leading and mentoring engineers within globally distributed teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and English language skills, with the ability to engage effectively across both business and technical audiences.
