Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor in Erlangen is seeking an experienced OT Networking Engineer to lead the project team in delivering project-specific requirements and act as the Subject Matter Expert for cybersecurity, network architecture and related devices.

You will drive the integration of Fluence BESS control systems into TSO SCADA environments, maintain documentation of networks, and mentor field engineers through commissioning and testing to ensure compliant, reliable operation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer engineering, information technology, computer science (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant OT / Networking experience in a power utility or related industry.
• Fluency in English; German language skills beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Leading the Project team on realization of the Project specific requirements
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert regarding Cybersecurity, Network, Architecture and associated devices
• Lead the integration of the Fluence BESS control system into the Transmission System Operator (TSO) SCADA systems
• Develop and maintain documentation of existing Network infrastructure including hardware, protocols, communication links and cybersecurity strategies
• Lead and guide field engineers to find solutions to problems as they arise during commissioning/testing of a system
• Involved in central network/cybersecurity for energy storage solutions
• Manage interface to Client and sub-contractor to ensure Networks compliance
• Develop standardized test procedures and execute tests to reduce commissioning time
• Maintain strict management of change control procedures and documentation
• Support company strategy and provide relevant reporting and updates to Company leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer engineering, information technology, computer science (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in OT / Networking with a power utility or related industry
• Expert of OSI layer models and experience in deploying network configurations
• Expert in remote access VPN, site-to-site VPN, Routers, Firewalls, Switches (Cisco + industrial equipment), SD-WAN, Meraki
• Experience in Linux based systems and commands, High-level programming languages such as Python and shell/bash scripting as well as with Github
• Knowledge about AWS, Openstack, Docker
• Expert on the design, operation and maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment including inverters, transformers, I/O racks, telecommunications, and controllers
• Fluency in English
• German / other language skills beneficial
