Senior HSEQ Manager / Consultant

For our client in Brunsbüttel, we are looking for a highly experienced, hands‑on Senior HSEQ Consultant to support the setup and development of the HSEQ department in line with the terminal’s organizational blueprint and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of German HSEQ legislation and regulatory frameworks, including Seveso / BImSchG, environmental permitting, occupational safety, and emergency preparedness.
• Proven experience in setting up HSEQ departments for large industrial facilities, preferably within the chemical, petrochemical, LNG, or other Seveso-regulated environments.
• Strong capability to define and implement HSEQ governance, including policies, procedures, management systems, and clear interfaces with internal departments and external authorities.
• Demonstrated experience supporting organizations during transition from project execution to the operational phase.
• Ability to work effectively with Operations, Maintenance, and Management teams to embed HSEQ requirements into day‑to‑day operations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering, safety, environmental science, or a related field.

Qualifications
