- Design rigorous healthcare analytics, HEOR, and RWE studies for biopharma and medical device clients
- Partner with project managers to scope engagements, recommend analytic approaches, and align objectives with client needs and timelines
- Mentor analysts and develop skills in study design, coding standards, and reproducible research
- Collaborate with analysts and statisticians on protocol design, statistical analysis plans, and advanced methods
- Design and execute studies using reusable R/Python packages, SAS code libraries, and Git-based versioning
- Analyze large administrative claims datasets while ensuring methodological rigor, data quality, and defensibility
- Ensure internal quality documentation requirements
- Communicate assumptions, methods, limitations, and results to non-technical stakeholders
- Prepare abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and scientific conferences
- Evaluate new data sources and emerging methods
- Recommend tools and standards to improve practice-wide analytics capability
- Support scientific publications and translate complex methods into actionable client insights
Requirements
- Master’s and/or doctorate degree in health services research, epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, biostatistics, health economics/outcomes research, data science, statistics or a related discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience conducting healthcare analytics
- Authored or co-authored at least 1 research article published in a scientific journal
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated experience conducting healthcare analytics, HEOR and real-world efficacy (RWE) studies
- Strong portfolio of peer-reviewed publications as primary/senior author and contributor
- Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language; R, SQL, and/or SAS strongly preferred
- Experience with Git and reproducible research workflows
- Hands‑on expertise with real‑world data sources and data engineering/cleaning best practices
- Advanced methodological skills including causal inference, survival/time‑to‑event analysis, longitudinal models, difference‑in‑differences, and sensitivity analyses
- Strong PowerPoint development skills
- Clear verbal communication skills for explaining study design, methods, and results
- Strong scientific writing skills suitable for peer‑reviewed publication and scientific communications
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy, and compliant handling of PHI/limited datasets
- Basic knowledge of Gen AI tools, productivity applications, and ethical considerations
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without immigration support or sponsorship
- Resume or CV with a publication list or links to representative work
- Preferred: experience preparing HEOR/RWE evidence
- Preferred: familiarity with economic modeling, including cost‑effectiveness and budget impact, and integration of RWE inputs
