Technology & Strategy in Lindenberg im Allgäu is seeking an FPGA Developer (m/f/d) with a focus on aerospace software to join our embedded systems team. You will design and implement PLD/FPGA solutions for aerospace applications, coordinate tasks, and contribute to safety analyses.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a comparable technical qualification.
• Solid experience in embedded systems development.
• Ideally, knowledge of software development in the aerospace sector.
• Proven experience with PLD/FPGA technologies and development tools (e.g., Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero).
• Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, preferably using ModelSim or Riviera-PRO.
• Ideally, experience in PLD/FPGA development for aerospace applications (e.g., RTCA DO-254).
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.

• Collaboration within interdisciplinary development teams

Your Responsibilities:

• Development of PLD/FPGA solutions for embedded systems in the aerospace environment

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical qualification
• Solid experience in embedded systems development
• Ideally, knowledge of software development in the aerospace sector
• Proven experience with PLD/FPGA technologies and corresponding development tools (e.g., Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero)
• Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is an advantage
• Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, preferably using ModelSim or Riviera-PRO
• Ideally, experience in PLD/FPGA development for aerospace applications (e.g., according to RTCA DO-254)
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for internal and external communication

Anopen-ended employment contract is offered.

The position is compensated within the IG Metall collective bargaining framework. The compensation development includes several salary adjustments within the first 12 months. The average annual salary during the first year of employment amounts to €77,000. Following this adjustment phase, the annual salary from month 13 through month 47 amounts to €100,000.
