T&S (Technology & Strategy) in Lindenberg im Allgäu is hiring a Software Engineer Aerospace Test & Verification (m/f/d). You will plan, execute, and document verification and testing for software and PLD/FPGA components in aerospace applications, collaborating in an agile team.

Requirements include a degree in a suitable technical field, experience in software and PLD/FPGA verification, and strong C/Python/VHDL/TCL skills with optional Assembly. ISTQB and DO-178/DO-254 knowledge are valued.

Your Responsibilities:

Your Profile:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical qualification
• Experience in the development and/or verification of software as well as PLD/FPGA solutions, taking relevant processes and standards into account
• Excellent programming skills in C, Python, VHDL, and TCL, ideally complemented by Assembly
• Knowledge of modern testing and verification methods
• ISTQB certification or a comparable qualification in software testing
• Knowledge of aerospace standards DO-178 and/or DO-254
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for internal and external communication

A permanent employment contract is offered.

The position is compensated within the framework of the IG Metall collective agreement. The salary development includes several salary adjustments within the first 12 months. The average annual salary during the first year of employment is €77,000. Following this adjustment phase, the annual salary from the 13th to the 47th month is €100,000.
