Amazon Munich is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our accounting organization and contribute to month-end close, financial reporting, and cross-team partnerships across the Amazon group.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent experience in finance roles.
• Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP) and ability to apply them in day-to-day activities.
• Experience supporting month-end closing processes and contributing to financial reporting under established procedures.
• Experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments.
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

You might start your morning reviewing the latest financial data, identifying variances, and diving into root causes before your first meeting. You will regularly share your analysis with leaders and contribute to team knowledge through documentation and mentoring.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)


• Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)


• Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)
