Zusammenfassung

Statista Inc. is seeking a senior specialist to drive finance transformation across our global organization from Hamburg. You will lead optimization projects, standardize end-to-end processes, and digitize reporting and controlling systems in collaboration with Accounting, Controlling, Tax and IT.

The role requires strong finance process knowledge, SAP S/4HANA expertise, and fluency in German and English. A hands-on, independent work style and the ability to guide cross-functional teams are

• Several years of professional experience in finance transformation, consulting or a project-focused finance role.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes and their end-to-end optimization.
• Experience leading complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on approach and ability to work independently in a structured way.
• Very good German and English language skills.

Aufgaben

• Support and lead transformation and optimization projects across Finance.
• Analyze, improve and standardize end-to-end finance processes, including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay.
• Implement and further develop ERP and finance systems, and digitize reporting and controlling processes.
• Design and implement automation solutions, such as robotic process automation (RPA).
• Work closely with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Accounts Receivable Management, IT and external partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and implement lasting improvements.
• Support change management to help teams adopt new processes and structures.

Your job

• Support and lead transformation and optimization projects across Finance.

Your profile

• A degree in business administration, economics, business information systems or a comparable qualification.


• Several years of professional experience in finance transformation, consulting or a project-focused finance role.


• Strong knowledge of finance processes and their end-to-end optimization.


• Experience leading complex projects and cross-functional teams.


• A very good understanding of ERP systems, such as SAP S/4HANA, and reporting solutions.


• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.


• A hands‑on approach and the ability to work independently in a structured way.


• Strong communication skills and confidence in working with stakeholders at all levels.


• Very good German and English language skills.
