Jobtailor in Berlin seeks an experienced finance professional to own HGB-compliant accounting, manage month-end and year-end closes, and deliver accurate financial statements with external accountants.

You will oversee AR/AP, invoicing, cash management, and tax topics, collaborating with external advisors. The role requires 3–5 years' experience, strong process automation, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance roles.
• Solid HGB accounting experience, including month-end and year-end close.
• Hands-on experience in financial operations, including invoicing, payments, expense management, and cash management.
• High attention to detail; diligent, reliable, and structured.
• Ability to manage short- and long-term deadlines.
• Highly autonomous with a hands-on mentality.
• Experience owning the full breadth of the finance function.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience designing, optimizing, and automating finance processes.
• Confidence using AI tools in Finance.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Manage statutory reporting and tax topics, including annual financial statements and VAT, with external tax advisors.
• Prepare and manage the annual audit, including audit files, documentation, and auditor communication.
• Support controlling and strategic finance through management reporting, analyses, and spreadsheet-based models.
• Drive the introduction of AI-based processes and build an efficient, automated finance setup.
• Manage and develop the finance working student.
• Report directly to the COO.
