Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Accounting, or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience in a scale-up, high-growth, or international environment.
• Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering.
• Experience building and professionalising Finance functions and processes.

• Oversee accounting, payroll, tax, treasury, and financial operations
• Ensure statutory, tax, and internal reporting compliance
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate external audits and financial reviews
• Serve as primary financial interface to the corporate shareholder and stakeholders
• Prepare board and shareholder reporting materials
• Support capital planning and long-term financial strategy
• Own Finance processes across all markets and ensure consistency across countries
• Support international expansion through scalable financial structures and processes
• Drive Finance process professionalisation and automation
• Improve financial data quality, availability, and utilisation

• Collaborate with Strategic Operations, Data, Product, and Engineering on automation initiatives

• Continuously improve Finance processes, controls, governance, standardisation, and operating models

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Accounting, or related fields
• Proven leadership experience in a scale-up, high-growth, or international environment
• Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering
• Experience building and professionalising Finance functions and processes
• Exposure to corporate structures and shareholder reporting environments
• Experience in insurance, financial services, technology, or other regulated industries is beneficial
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
• Outstanding financial planning and modelling skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Proven ability to influence decision‑making at leadership level
• High degree of ownership and proactiveness
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Strong understanding of finance systems, reporting structures, and process design
• Interest in automation, AI, and technology‑enabled finance processes
• Full professional fluency (written and spoken) in English and German
