Our client, a leading international player in the industrial and manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Global Commodity Manager – Electronics to strengthen their procurement team in Germany. This is a strategic role with global responsibility for managing key electronic components and driving sourcing excellence across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement global commodity strategies for electronic components, assemblies, and manufacturing services
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, supplier quality, operations, and procurement teams worldwide
• Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and secure long-term supply stability
• Drive cost optimization, risk management, and supplier innovation initiatives
• Provide market insights and ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Several years of experience in commodity management, strategic procurement, or category management within electronics
• Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage global supplier networks
• Fluent English and German
• Willingness to travel internationally as required
