John Paul Construction is hiring a Senior Engineer for a role based in Frankfurt, Germany. The Senior Engineer will support the delivery of data centre projects and work alongside experienced project teams.

Candidates must hold a recognised Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification and demonstrate experience in planning, coordinating and supervising lifting operations on construction sites. Key responsibilities include technical advice, daily liaison with project and design teams, and QA checks,

Qualifikationen

• Relevant third-level degree with 5+ years' experience in civil/construction engineering.
• Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification required.
• Experience on pharma, datacentre, hi-tech, distribution, warehouse projects and use of GPS/robotic total station and levelling equipment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Support the Project Manager and the wider team to provide technical advice on the project.
• Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors.
• Perform technical verifications of civil engineering designs, models and drawings.
• Implement QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI's and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics.
• Record keeping and reporting.

Due to continued expansion, we require a Senior Engineer for a role based in Frankfurt, Germany. The Senior Engineers will support the delivery of construction of Data Centre projects. Working alongside experienced project teams. Candidates must hold a recognised Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification and demonstrate proven experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising complex lifting operations on construction or industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the Project Manager and the wider team to provide technical advise on the project
• Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors
• Perform technical verifications of civil engineering designs, models and drawings.
• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI's and resolves technical issues
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics

Specific Requirements

• Relevant Third level Degree 5+ years' experience
• Hold a recognised Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification
• Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech, Distribution,Warehouse)
• Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment is essential
• Excellent IT skills - knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
