Senior Electrical Engineer

European Tech Recruit are working closely with an exciting quantum computing startup, based in Munich, who are looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team.

In this role you will collaborate with leading scientists and experts in quantum technology to design and build devices for a full-stack product of quantum computers in line with customer requirements.

Responsibilities as Senior Electrical Engineer:

• Module Leadership: Take charge of key electronic modules in quantum computers.
• System Integration: Integrate and optimize your module with the overall system.
• Project Rotation: Move to new projects after successful integration.
• Collaboration: Work with quantum, mechanical and software engineering teams for development and implementation.
• Ongoing Learning: Keep up with the latest physics advancements of the platform to improve system performance.

Requirements:

• BSc or higher in Electr. Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of practical experience delivering hardware.
• Design experience in 3 or more of the following areas: analog electronics/RF electronics, digital electronics, power electronics.
• Ability to specify systems independently and engage with stake holders.
• Record of mentoring junior engineers.

• Voltage References, High Precision Designs
• Digital electronics:
• Precision / High Speed ADC/DAC

• High Current Switching
• H-Bridges with MOSFET/SiC/IGBT
• Switch Mode Supplies
