Quantum Software Engineer
European Tech Recruit are working closely with an exciting Quantum Computing startup, based in Munich, who are looking for a talented Quantum Software Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new software features and automated tests.
- Collaborate and share knowledge effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- Integrate and automate testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain clear, consistent documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Continuously explore emerging technologies and deepen your understanding of quantum computing.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in a relevant technical field.
- 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Rust, C++, C, Java (other languages are welcome).
- Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong interest in physics and quantum computing.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
- Fluent in English and German (C1 level, written and spoken).
- Hands‑on experience with low‑level or close‑to‑hardware software development.
- Deep expertise in Python and/or Rust.
- Experience working in Scrum or other agile development frameworks.
- Relevant industry experience in software or quantum computing.
- Contributions to personal tech projects or open‑source software.
