Kier, delivering Thames Water framework in East Hyde, Bedfordshire, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical systems from design through to handover. The role combines on-site delivery with some remote work for a major infrastructure project, with 45 hours per week, occasional travel, and on-call duties.
You will own inspection and test plans, coordinate with suppliers and teams, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery throughout project lifecycle.
We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Thames Water framework team based in East Hyde, Bedfordshire. Location: East Hyde, Bedfordshire – remote working may be available, with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. Kier has been engaged to deliver a major project for Thames Water involving sewage process systems for tertiary treatment, biomethane and digesters, and sludge works. We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to ensure the project electrical systems are designed and built to the highest standards. You'll be the lead electrical specialist on the project, establishing inspection and test plans, attending tests, engaging with the commissioning team, and providing all documentation required for handover. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of electrical systems from inception through to completion on a significant infrastructure project.
