Gauss Robotics GmbH is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure behind AI-powered robotics. You will build and scale our cloud-native stack on AWS, manage the EKS-based Kubernetes platform, and secure networking with Istio while championing automation and reliability.
You will work closely with software and robotics engineers to design scalable, observable systems. The role favors on-site collaboration with hybrid flexibility in Braunschweig, Germany.
At Gauss Robotics, we are making robotics a commodity by automating the engineering processes behind it. Our automation platform combines artificial intelligence, cloud-native infrastructure, simulation technology, and robotics to dramatically simplify how robotic systems are designed, deployed, and operated.

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who builds and owns the critical cloud infrastructure behind our AI-powered robotics systems. Someone who understands cloud architecture, networking, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and software engineering. Someone who can make architectural decisions, write production code, debug complex systems. Someone who takes ownership.

This full-time position is based in Braunschweig. While we offer hybrid flexibility, we value in-person collaboration and expect team members to be on-site 2–3 days per week.
Most importantly, you are someone who follows problems all the way to their root cause. You do not stop when a workaround has been found. You keep digging until the underlying issue is understood and permanently fixed.
