Jobbeschreibung

We’re on a mission to help industrial companies unlock the full potential of their data by enabling real-time, autonomous decision-making in planning and scheduling processes. While data availability in manufacturing continues to grow, much of it remains untapped. Our software changes that, transforming production scheduling across global factories through intelligent, data-driven automation.

We’re proud to work with some of the world’s leading companies in the process industries, including BASF, Sun Chemical, and many more. With a recently completed funding round, we’re scaling rapidly, expanding our team and platform to support the next wave of growth. Backed by a strong five-year pipeline, we’re well-positioned to deliver long-term impact and sustainable innovation.

If you’re excited by complex systems, real-world impact, and building technology that powers the future of process manufacturing, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join forces with our DevOps Lead and help push our platform’s observability and automation to the next level.

We develop and deliver B2B software solutions for industrial customers. Reliability, traceability, and maintainability are critical across all stages of the product lifecycle.

You’ll work closely with the DevOps Lead and engineering teams to create robust, scalable, and observable systems—owning the pipelines and tooling that connect development to production.

The goal is to evolve our setup into a flexible, service-based infrastructure that supports cloud, on-prem, and hybrid deployments, enabling us to onboard and scale across customer environments with varying technical requirements.

The core of the role is to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that ensure reproducibility, fast feedback, and safe automated delivery across the full software lifecycle. While working with our current stack, you'll also help evaluate and adopt more modern tools as the architecture evolves. In addition, you'll manage our logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Fluentd, Loki, Grafana) to keep production systems observable and stable.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible, while contributing to the transition toward more modern infrastructure and tooling where appropriate
  • Ensure the full software lifecycle is supported—from development to operations—with automation, validation, observability and continuous improvement built-in
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate logging and observability into services and environments by default—not as an afterthought.
  • Own and operate our logging and monitoring stack (Fluentd, Loki, Grafana), ensuring reliable, structured, and meaningful telemetry across all environments.
  • Support architectural evolution by evaluating and adopting modern DevOps practices and tools
  • Ensure that systems are secure and resilient against cybersecurity threats
  • Identify and fix technical issues with well-tested, reliable updates

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • Solid experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible, with an openness to evolving the stack.
  • A strong understanding of how pipelines should support the entire lifecycle of code—from local dev to production ops—with traceability, monitoring, and validation at every step.
  • Proficiency in managing logging and observability systems, especially Fluentd, Loki, and Grafana, including alerting and metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, automation, and tooling development.
  • Solid scripting skills with Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and confident use of Git-based workflows in daily development and operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Docker and Linux-based environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, firewalls, ports, and TCP/IP.
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills—systematic, persistent, and outcome-oriented.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—clear documentation, proactive sync, and team alignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to MLOps, data-heavy pipelines, or infra for AI systems.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools, ideally in a service management context.
  • Experience with modern or emerging infra/deployment tools (Pulumi, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure or GCP.
  • German skills are a plus.

What we Offer

  • Relocation Package – We provide full support to help you settle in smoothly, including relocation assistance and accommodation guidance
  • Wellpass Gym Membership – Access to hundreds of fitness and wellness options for just €10/month
  • Job Ticket – Subsidized public transport to keep your commute affordable and stress-free

  • Supportive & International Team – Join a warm, open-minded group of colleagues from around the world
  • Real Ownership – You'll have space to take initiative and make a tangible impact
