Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a senior cloud technology specialist to support the sales team by solving complex technical issues for customers in Germany. You will liaise with product marketing and engineering to stay ahead of industry trends and help customers understand and adopt Google Cloud, Workspace, and related tools.

The role focuses on delivering enterprise-grade cloud solutions, discussing security, IAM, SSO, and data management, and guiding partners toward successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with Big Data, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and related technologies (web services, XML/JSON).
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

You listen and deliver what is most helpful for the customer. You assist fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers. You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.

In this role, you will work with the Sales team as a Google Workspace subject matter expert to help customers get the most out of Google’s collaboration and productivity tools. You will help existing and prospective customers understand the power of Google Cloud, explaining technical features and problem-solving any potential roadblocks.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Germany: €132000 - €135000 (EUR) + 42.86% bonus target + equity + benefits
Finland: €126000 - €129000 (EUR) + 42.86% bonus target + equity + benefits
Sweden: kr1260000 - kr1290000 (SEK) + 42.86% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

• - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• - 10 years of experience with one or more of the following; Big Data, Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) technologies, Application development on Web 2.0 development platform, solutions, related technologies (web services, XML/JSON etc), Infrastructure and DevOps, enterprise networking concepts (DNS, TCP, Firewalls, Load Balancing), virtualization, migration and configuration management.
• - Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

• - Experience with on-premise and cloud based mail delivery, routing and filtering technologies.
• - Experience with cloud security including Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, OAuth, and 2-step verification.
• - Familiarity with Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS terminology.
• - Build partner specific, go-to-market solutions to reduce business-cycles and drive partner business as measured through pipeline and business growth.
• - Own the technical relationship with partners, empowering them to drive a pilot or proof-of-concept, support partners drive toward customer acceptance of the technical proposal, leading to an agreement, and work with partners during the migration phase to assure they have all the tools necessary to deliver a successful deployment.
• - Build trusted advisory relationships and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
