Job summary

Jung von Matt SPORTS in Hamburg is seeking a (Senior) Copywriter (d/f/m) for a full-time role. You will develop creative lead ideas, concepts, and campaigns for multiple clients, and write copy across channels.

Collaborate with art directors, brief and coordinate stakeholders, present concepts to clients, maintain copy quality, mentor juniors and explore new formats including generative AI. Strong tone of voice, high-quality editorial mindset, and fluency in German and English are essential for

• Excellent understanding of brands, products and audiences, with a strong sense of tone of voice.
• Outstanding conceptual and writing skills across all media and channels.
• Proven experience in developing integrated campaigns and creative lead ideas.
• Confident presentation and persuasion skills in German and English.
• High quality standards and a strong creative and editorial mindset.
• Deep understanding of the interplay between copy, design, concept and technology.
• Experience working closely with art direction, consulting, strategy and external partners.
• Ability to guide, mentor and develop junior copywriters through constructive feedback.
• Curiosity for new formats, platforms and tools, including the use of generative AI in the creative process.
