Jung von Matt NECKAR is seeking a Senior Art Director to lead visual storytelling across campaigns, formats and channels. You will translate ideas into diverse assets while maintaining consistency and quality, collaborating with copywriters, strategists and designers to create integrated solutions.

The role requires several years as an Art Director in a creative environment, a strong portfolio, and the ability to work in German and English across different media.

Jung von Matt NECKAR is looking for a Senior Art Director (d/f/m) to join our team.

You are a strong visual thinker who turns ideas into distinctive creative work? As a Senior Art Director (d/f/m), you bring together visual craft, conceptual strength and a confident understanding of how ideas work across different media and formats. You enjoy creating work that is both visually compelling and strategically relevant, from employer branding and classic campaigns to internal communications and attention-grabbing PR ideas.

You like working across disciplines, take ownership and bring the confidence to push creative work to a high standard - from the first idea to the final execution and both in German and English.

• Translating campaign ideas into a wide range of individual assets while maintaining consistency and creative quality
• Tailoring creative work to the specific requirements of different media, audiences and stakeholders
• Collaborating closely with copywriters, strategists, designer and other disciplines to develop integrated solutions
• Presenting and defending creative ideas confidently to internal and external stakeholders
• Taking creative ownership of projects from concept through to final execution

What we’re looking for:

• Several years of experience as an Art Director in an advertising agency or comparable creative environment
• A strong portfolio demonstrating distinctive visual work and creative excellence
• Strong conceptual thinking and a confident understanding of visual storytelling
• A good understanding of different media, formats and their specific creative requirements
• Experience balancing creative ambition with the needs of different stakeholders
• Experience with B2B or retail clients is a plus
• A collaborative mindset, confidence in presenting ideas and openness to feedback
