CYBEX, based in Germany, Bayreuth, seeks a finance professional to partner with cross-functional teams in controlling, FP&A and reporting. You will own month-end closings, analyze variances, and present insights to drive cost efficiency and business decisions in a fast-paced, international environment.

Requirements include a Finance/Accounting/Economics degree, several years in Controlling or FP&A, strong analytics, and fluency in English. Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI is valued.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; Power BI experience is a plus.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations, to provide financial guidance and support performance improvement initiatives
• Take ownership of the month-end closing activities for your assigned areas, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting while continuously improving closing processes
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial results by comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing meaningful insights and recommendations
• Monitor key cost drivers and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support informed business decisions
• Track and report on cost efficiency initiatives, waste reduction, and productivity improvements, helping the business achieve its operational and financial objectives
• Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate controlling and reporting processes to improve efficiency and data quality
• Develop insightful management reports, dashboards, and business cases that enable leadership to make data-driven strategic decisions
• Act as a trusted finance business partner, translating financial data into clear business insights and recommendations for both finance and non-finance stakeholders

Your stroll to CYBEX:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Business Controlling within an international environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage); experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across departments and influence stakeholders
