Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking experienced Contract Managers to work on major construction and infrastructure projects in Germany. The role focuses on assessing contractual entitlement and negotiating significant claims within a hybrid working model across Dortmund or Hamburg.

Candidates should have 4-5+ years in energy or infrastructure programs and be fluent in German (C1). The opportunity involves a long-term project pipeline with complex contractual challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex contracts on major construction or infrastructure programs.
• Demonstrated ability to assess contractual entitlement and negotiate significant claims.
• Strong understanding of project execution and delivery in large-scale energy/ infrastructure contexts.
• Business-fluent German (C1) is required.

Job description

I'm looking to speak with experienced Contract Managers who have worked on major construction or infrastructure projects and have been directly involved in assessing and negotiating significant contractual claims.

This is an opportunity to join a major organisation delivering some of Germany's most important energy infrastructure projects, with a long-term project pipeline and claims ranging from approximately €80k to €100m.

The key experience we’re looking for:

• 4-5+ years within major construction/infrastructure projects
• Experience assessing contractual entitlement
• Personally involved in negotiating significant claims
• Strong understanding of project execution
• C1 / business-fluent German
• Energy experience helpful, but not essential

Dortmund or Hamburg | Hybrid working | 38-hour week
