Magpie Projects Holding GmbH is seeking an experienced risk consultant to shape the future of financial services in Frankfurt. You will advise risk departments on strategic and regulatory matters, and contribute to governance, risk models, and client workshops in a dynamic, international team.

The role requires 2–4 years in finance, strong risk management expertise, and fluency in German and English. Expect a hands-on, on-site position with opportunities to innovate and drive practical risk

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years of experience in the financial sector with a focus on risk management.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Mathematics or related field; Master’s/MBA/PhD a strong plus.
• Familiar with Basel III/IV or MaRisk and related regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and risk data models.
• Fluent in German and English for diverse stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

Advise risk departments on strategic, regulatory, and financial matters to guide them through complex challenges.

Support risk controlling activitiesrelated to regulatory frameworks such as Basel III/IV, CRR, MaRisk, and DORA.

Develop robust governance structures and control mechanisms to optimize processes and ensure future-proof risk management.

Design and implement risk and valuation models that create tangible, real-world value for our clients.

Build strong, long-lasting client relationships by acting as a trusted risk management expert and sharing your expertise in workshops and training sessions.

Monitor market trends and emerging technologies, acting as an innovation driver who translates these insights into practical, ready-to-use solutions.

Your educational foundation is a degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree, MBA, or PhD is a strong plus.

You bring 2-4 years of experience in the financial sector, with a strong focus on risk management.

Regulatory frameworks like Basel III/IV or MaRisk are familiar to you, and applying this complex expertise is a natural part of your daily work.

You have an affinity for data and bring hands-on experience with data analysis and risk data modelsto the role.

Confidently and precisely, you communicate in both German and English to make complex regulatory and technical topics easily understandable for diverse stakeholders.
