Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to join a cross-functional team of system administrators and cloud engineers in Offenbach.

You will design, implement, and operate private cloud infrastructures (Adacor Cloud and Microsoft Azure), automate with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD, and help advance our IaC approach while ensuring reliable service for demanding customers.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent in CS/IT, or relevant experience welcomed.
• At least five years' experience as Cloud Engineer, System Admin, or DevOps.
• Experience operating production virtualized environments and cloud infra.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Git, Ansible, Jenkins (or similar).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented incident handling.
• German C1+ and English good command.
• On-call duties 8-10 times per year, one week per cycle.
• Ideally Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud experience/certifications.

• Contribute ideas to shape the platforms.

• Participate in on-call rotations for production customer environments
• Evaluate and implement new technologies for virtualization, containerization, automation, and backup
• Collaborate with customers and exchange technical knowledge across teams
• Contribute your own ideas and actively help shape the platforms

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or a comparable qualification; relevant professional experience without a formal degree is also welcome
• At least five years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer
• Experience implementing and operating production virtualized IT environments and cloud infrastructures
• Proficiency with Terraform, Git, Ansible, Jenkins, or comparable tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to handling incidents and problems
• German language skills at C1 level or higher
• Good command of English
• On-call duty: 8-10 times per year, one week at a time, together with a colleague
• Ideally, experience or certifications in Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
