POSTE

Harry Hope is supporting one of our international partners in the banking IT consulting sector in their search for a Senior Avaloq Consultant to strengthen their growing team. The company has established itself as a trusted player in the financial services and IT industry, delivering cutting-edge solutions to prestigious financial institutions across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key link between business and IT in projects related to the implementation and enhancement of the Avaloq core banking software for leading financial institutions in the European market.
• Manage the full implementation cycle : from requirements analysis and specification through to implementation, documentation, quality assurance, and final integration testing.
• Parameterize and adapt software modules to meet client needs, design and implement interfaces using PL / SQL and Avaloq Script.
• Contribute to the development of proprietary software products and play an active role in expanding the company's service portfolio.

PROFIL

• Degree in business informatics, computer science, or equivalent qualification.
• Practical experience in software development, with strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and programming (e.g., Java, C++).
• Previous exposure to Avaloq and banking expertise is highly advantageous.
• Strong sense of responsibility, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset with a customer-focused approach.
• Motivated to continuously learn and develop professionally.
• Willingness to travel for long-term assignments, including outside Luxembourg.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written); French is a plus.
