Qualifikationen

• Experience on large-scale data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical projects.

Aufgaben

• Act as the Senior Authorised Person for HV and LV electrical systems on site.
• Control, issue, and manage Permits to Work, Sanction for Tests, and safety documentation.
• Carry out switching operations and isolation procedures in accordance with approved electrical safety rules.
• Prepare, review, and approve switching schedules and method statements.
• Ensure all works are compliant with site safety procedures and statutory regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and electrical risk assessments.
• Coordinate with commissioning teams during energisation activities.
• Review RAMS and ensure contractors adhere to approved procedures.
• Investigate and report electrical incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
• Support project delivery whilst maintaining high electrical safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding electrical operations and energisation plans.

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Duration: 10 month Contract

Hours: 10 Hours per Day, Monday to Friday (50 Hours per Week)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join a major data center project in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe management of electrical systems, implementation of permit-to-work procedures, and ensuring all high-voltage operations are carried out in accordance with site safety rules and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Senior Authorised Person for HV and LV electrical systems on site.

• Carry out switching operations and isolation procedures in accordance with approved electrical safety rules.

• Ensure all works are completed in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and statutory regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and electrical risk assessments.
• Coordinate with commissioning teams during energisation activities.
• Review RAMS and ensure contractors adhere to approved procedures.
• Investigate and report electrical incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
• Support project delivery whilst maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding electrical system operations and energisation plans.

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent).
• Current Senior Authorised Person status under a recognised HV authorisation scheme.
• Strong experience working on large-scale data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience managing HV switching operations and permit systems.
• Excellent understanding of electrical safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on a live construction environment.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
