Brightsmith is seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany. You will lead electrical system control, SSOW and safe working practices across the project lifecycle.

This live-role focuses on isolation, switching and energisation procedures, with responsibility from installation through commissioning. A proven track record on large-scale electrical or data centre projects is required, with ability to operate in a live environment.

Our client is delivering major data centre projects across Europe. They're seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany.

This is a high-responsibility role focused on the control and management of electrical systems, safe systems of work and operational electrical activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for electrical systems on a major data centre project.
• Manage and control Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) within a live/operational environment.
• Oversee electrical isolation, switching, energisation and associated control procedures.
• Ensure all electrical works are completed safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments and permits.
• Maintain control of electrical systems from installation through commissioning and completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP / Senior Authorised Person on large-scale electrical or data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and electrical system control.
• Previous experience working within live or operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical isolation, switching and energisation procedures.
