Job summary

bayshore is building AI agents for legal and compliance. As a Senior Legal AI Associate you will shape bayshore's product and engineering culture, work directly with the founders and customers, ship fast, and define how our stack evolves.

You will translate regulations into executable rules, redesign workflows with an AI-first approach, and help encode legal rulesets into code. This role combines legal expertise with product impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated in law with outstanding performance or equivalent international grade.
• Relevant work experience in law or law-adjacent fields (pharma, defense, or finance).
• Believe that AI can do many aspects of legal work.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with client management mapping their processes and distilling requirements.
• Understand the decision logic of regulations and client policies.
• Redesign legal workflows with an AI-first approach.
• Help encode legal rulesets into code that AI can execute.
• Automate what used to require armies of compliance officers and lawyers.
• Influence product direction through tight feedback loops with client users.

The Role

As our (Senior) Legal AI Associate you'll shape the foundation of bayshore's product and engineering culture. You'll work directly with the founders and customers, ship fast, and make decisions that define how our stack, product, and team evolve.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with our client's management mapping their processes and distilling requirements

Requirements

• Graduated in law with outstanding performance (vollbefriedigend or equivalent international grade, or other documentation of outstanding expertise)


• Relevant work experience in law or law-adjacent fields (especially pharma, defense, or finance)


• Believe that AI can do many aspects of legal work


• Comfortable using computers and instructing them using a programming language designed for lawyers (we will teach you the language)


• Move fast, think clearly, and take ownership


• Prefer simplicity over abstraction and shipping over talking


• Enjoy client-facing work with strong business sense, prioritizing delivering value to clients
