DWP Digital is seeking a Senior Application Operations Engineer to support and enhance the Central Payments System, a highly customised Oracle E-Business Suite application delivering payments and accounting for UK benefit services.

You will develop new functionality, maintain complex customisations and integrations, troubleshoot issues, and work with architects and engineers to improve service performance and resilience.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrable experience as an Oracle Developer with Oracle E-Business Suite background.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL development skills including interfaces and reports.
• Experience with system integrations, performance tuning and troubleshooting.

knowledge of E-Business Suite Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payments, Sub-Ledger Accounting, and Cash Management. Extensive experience of collaborating with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to review requirements and uses these along with agreed standards and tools to design, code, test, correct and document programmes or scripts of medium to high complexity. Able to co-ordinate build activities and understands how to support testing activities, including functional, integration and performance. Excellent problem solving skills; able to quickly identify patterns across huge volumes of data to identify root cause analysis of high priority incidents/issues and propose appropriate resolution. Extensive experience delivering robust Oracle E-Business Suite solutions, including SQL/PLSQL development, OAF personalisation and extensions, Oracle Reports/XML Publisher, APIs, interfaces, web-service integrations, workflow configuration and performance tuning
