DWP Digital is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement automated, scalable network solutions across AWS/Azure/Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and on‑prem environments. You will collaborate with architecture and engineering to drive automation, reliability and faster delivery in a hybrid working model.

The role requires strong CI/CD experience, scripting in Unix/Linux/Windows, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.

We are looking for outstanding Senior Infrastructure Engineers who are skilled in network automation to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital, to assist in the design of Infrastructure services in collaboration with Architecture and Engineering principles. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• Demonstrable knowledge of writing and maintaining Infrastructure and Configuration as Code.
• Strong experience of using Unix/Linux/Windows in a support and/or development environment including scripting languages.
• Demonstrable experience of working in a NetDevOps environment - Continuous Integration & Deployment, Delivery methods and techniques, including agile scrum experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience of supporting, guiding and developing engineers across multi-disciplinary teams in an agile environment.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and supporting cloud-based network solutions across a multi-cloud environment.

From designing secure connectivity solutions across AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to leading technical improvements and automation initiatives, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact from day one.

This is a role for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, influencing how services evolve and working across a range of delivery approaches, from agile to project-based environments. You’ll build strong relationships across engineering teams, lead continuous improvement and help create modern, high-performing services that support millions of users.

• Location: You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle, whichever is more convenient for you.
