Zusammenfassung

Advantest is seeking an Analog ASIC Design Engineer to help create key technologies for semiconductor testing. You will take analog and full-custom modules from concept to silicon, owning the end-to-end design for Advantest's IC test solutions.

You will collaborate with architects, digital design, software, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into robust analog designs, perform simulations, validate prototypes, and deliver high-quality results on schedule.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in EE with emphasis on analog design.
• Background in analog and full-custom SOC design.
• Experience with ASIC design methodologies and silicon development.
• Experience with CMOS processes.
• Familiar with standard analog simulation tools.
• Good data-analysis skills.
• Basic understanding of digital circuits.
• Proficient in UNIX environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork; fluent English (German a plus).

Join a global, highly skilled engineering team at the heart of Advantest's cutting edge IC test solutions. As an Analog ASIC Design Engineer, you will help create the key technologies that enable the next generation of semiconductor testing.
You will work on complex mixed signal ASICs used in Advantest's industry leading testers, taking analog and full custom modules from first concept all the way to silicon in the final system, giving you true end to end ownership.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, digital design counterparts, SW- and other engineering disciplines. You will translate requirements into robust designs, solve challenging technical problems, and deliver high quality results on schedule and at scale.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of analog or full-custom modules in CMOS in schematics and layout
• Support for top level and chip level physical design
• Specification Based Simulations, verification on module and chip level across process
• Analysis of circuits including process variance
• Testing, evaluation, validation of prototypes and data analysis
• Circuit performance reporting and documentation
• Provide guidance and advice to team members
• Collaboration with other functions

• University degree, Diploma or MS EE
• Background in analog and full custom design (SOC)
• Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design methodologies and silicon development cycle
• Experience with modern leading edge CMOS processes
• Experience with standard simulation tools for analog designs
• Knowledge in Data Analysis
• Basic understanding of digital circuits
• Good knowledge of UNIX* environment and using programming languages
• Technical communication, team working and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English in speaking and writing (German language skills would be an added advantage)
