Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.

We're currently looking to hire a Senior AI Engineer to join one of our clients in Cologne, where you will play a key role in building the next generation of capabilities within an AI-powered SaaS platform.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong machine learning engineering expertise with a practical mindset for delivering production-grade AI systems. You will work on designing and implementing agentic AI architectures, integrating advanced language models, and developing scalable solutions that power real-world business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven features within our SaaS platform
• Build and implement agentic AI systems capable of planning, reasoning, and interacting with external tools and services
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) and supporting architectures into production environments
• Develop robust pipelines for model orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and improvement
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, machine learning, or applied AI development

• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and system design

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
