BCG Platinion in Munich seeks a senior AI architecture lead to shape AI-driven software factories and enterprise-scale automation. You will guide cross-functional teams and translate business needs into scalable, secure architectures.

You bring a degree in CS/Information Systems/AI Eng and at least four years in IT consulting or software engineering with an AI focus, plus hands-on with LLMs, AI agents, or ML platforms. Fluency in German and English is required.

• Four+ years of relevant experience in IT consulting, IT project management, or professional software engineering with a strong AI focus.
• Experience leading project teams of more than three people.
• Analyze, design, and optimize AI-driven architectures leveraging legacy IT and enterprise solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI systems, such as LLM-based applications, AI agents, or ML platforms.
• Familiar with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and platform engineering.
• Familiar with Agent Assembly Line, Execution Harness, and Context Engineering and integrating into secure, scalable enterprise architectures.
• Able to translate complex business requirements into technical architectures and communicate with stakeholders.
• Thrive in interdisciplinary teams and global environments and are willing to travel.
• Fluent in both German and English and can communicate complex technical concepts in both languages.

• You design AI-driven target architectures and conceptualize AI-powered Software Factories—from agentic software factories to autonomous software development at enterprise scale—while leading small project teams
• You develop and take ownership of AI-driven delivery pipelines that translate development processes, engineering standards, and architectural principles into machine-executable workflows
• You establish trusted AI engineering environments by designing governance mechanisms with multi-layer verification, clearly defined identity boundaries, and end-to-end traceability
• You implement and oversee evaluation and security mechanisms, including automated testing and evaluation pipelines, architecture compliance checks, and red-teaming approaches for AI-generated systems, ensuring adherence to quality and security standards
• You transform enterprise knowledge into machine-readable structures—such as architecture decisions, domain models, APIs, and business rules—to enable autonomous software development
• You translate business intent into scalable architectures, embed AI sustainably into existing technology landscapes and operating models, and turn strategic vision into measurable business impact

• You have at least four years of relevant experience in IT consulting, IT project management, or professional software engineering with a strong AI focus.
• You have experience leading project teams of more than three people.
• You analyze, design, and optimize state-of-the-art custom IT architectures, leveraging your deep understanding of legacy IT, enterprise solutions, and current technology trends (e.g., Agentic AI, LLM orchestration, AI-native architectures).
• You have hands‑on experience with AI systems, such as LLM-based applications, AI agents, or machine learning platforms.
• You are familiar with modern software delivery practices, including DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and platform engineering.
• Concepts such as Agent Assembly Line, Execution Harness, and Context Engineering are familiar to you, and you know how to integrate them into secure, scalable enterprise architectures.
• You are able to translate complex business requirements into technical architectures and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• You thrive in interdisciplinary teams and global environments and are willing to travel as needed.
• You are fluent in both German and English and can confidently communicate complex technical concepts in both languages.
