Job summary

Douglas Service GmbH sucht am Standort Düsseldorf eine Senior Accounting Specialist Subledger (w/m/x) für einen 24-monatigen befristeten Vertrag. Sie übernehmen die tägliche Kreditorenbuchhaltung, prüfen Rechnungen in SAP und bearbeiten Banktransaktionen sowie Zahlungsläufe.

Sie verfügen über eine kaufmännische Ausbildung, mehrjährige Buchhaltungserfahrung in einer Unternehmensgruppe, starke SAP-/Bankbuchhaltungskenntnisse und fließende Deutsch- sowie gute Englischkenntnisse.

Qualifications

• Abschluss einer kaufmännischen Berufsausbildung oder gleichwertige Qualifikation.
• Mehrjährige Buchhaltungserfahrung in einer Unternehmensgruppe und starke Debitoren-/Kreditorenkenntnisse.
• Ausgezeichnete MS-Office-Kenntnisse und sicherer Umgang mit SAP, idealerweise mit digitaler Rechnungsstellung oder Travel & Expense.
• Ausgebaute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
• Positives Mindset, kooperative Arbeitsweise und Bereitschaft zur Automatisierung von Prozessen.

Responsibilities

• Tagesgeschäft im Bereich Kreditorenbuchhaltung, Prüfung, Codierung und Buchung von Lieferantenrechnungen in SAP.
• Eigenständige Klärung von Rechnungsanfragen, Zahlungserinnerungen und offenen Posten in Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Stakeholdern.
• Bearbeitung und Abstimmung von Banktransaktionen und Mitwirkung bei der Klärung von Zahlungsthemen.
• Vorbereitung und Prüfung von SAP-Zahlungsläufen.
• Unterstützung ausgewählter Reise- und Spesenaktivitäten und deren buchhalterische Abbildung.
• Unterstützung bei der Optimierung, Standardisierung und Automatisierung unserer Purchase-to-Pay-Prozesse.

At our headquarters in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist Subledger (f/m/x) to join us on a 24-month fixed-term contract.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including reviewing, coding and posting supplier invoices in SAP
• Independently resolve invoice queries, payment reminders and outstanding issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Process and reconcile bank transactions and help resolve outstanding payment items
• Prepare and review SAP payment runs
• Support selected travel and expense activities and their accounting treatment
• Help improve, standardise and automate our purchase-to-pay processes, with opportunities to take on responsibilities in other accounting areas over time

YOUR SKILLS

Alongside these competencies, we are particularly interested in the following qualifications and skills:

• Completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of accounting experience within a corporate group and strong accounts payable expertise, ideally complemented by experience in bank accounting
• Excellent MS Office skills and confident use of SAP, ideally with experience in digital invoicing or travel and expense processes
• Excellent German and English language skills
• A positive mindset, a collaborative approach and a drive to challenge, standardise and automate processes
