FRASER, an independent creative agency, seeks an experienced finance professional in Berlin to lead day-to-day accounting and financial administration. You will manage invoices, maintain records across ERP systems, and support monthly closings with the Finance Manager, ensuring accuracy and compliance for multiple entities.

Proficiency in German (B2+) and English is required, with a hands-on, pragmatic approach in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on DATEV and ERP/accounting systems experience.
• Strong understanding of German bookkeeping principles.
• Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, AP and general accounting.

• Ability to work independently and own recurring financial processes.
• Experience with multiple entities/international businesses is a plus.
• Proficient German (B2 or higher) and fluent English.

Your role FRASER is an independent creative agency with teams across Berlin, Zurich, Cape Town and Dubai. We develop integrated campaigns, content and digital experiences for ambitious international brands, combining strategic thinking, creativity and technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial administration Process, verify and organise incoming and outgoing invoices, including accurate allocation to projects and entities
• Maintain accurate financial records across our accounting and ERP systems
• Prepare bookkeeping documentation and support monthly closing and reconciliation processes
• Coordinate payment runs, recurring expenses and subscriptions
• Work closely with external accountants and tax advisors across our international entities
• Identify discrepancies and support the Finance Manager with day-to-day finance tasks and reporting

Profile

• 4+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a similar finance role
• Solid experience working with German accounting and financial processes
• Hands-on experience with DATEV and ERP/accounting systems
• Good understanding of German bookkeeping principles
• Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, accounts payable and general accounting
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, organised way of working
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of recurring financial processes
• Experience working with multiple entities or international businesses is a plus
• Professional working proficiency in German (B2 or above)
• Excellent English, both written and spoken
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
