About the Job

This is an opportunity to join the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sales team as a Senior Account Manager, supporting strategic customers across Germany. The role combines growth of existing key accounts with the development of new opportunities, requiring a proactive, customer-facing sales professional who can build pipeline and successfully close business. The successful candidate will manage a defined territory, drive account expansion, and work closely with internal technical teams to deliver value to customers. This position offers significant autonomy, extensive customer engagement, and the chance to contribute to the continued growth of the Aerospace & Defense business.

Responsibilities

Sales and Relationship Management:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth within strategic Aerospace and Defence (AD) accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within accounts.
• Identify and understand customer needs, providing tailored solutions that address their unique challenges in test and measurement.

Product Expertise and Solution Selling

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Keysight product portfolio with focus on RF, Microwave test and related digital and high-speed digital technologies products as well as AD specific solutions
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to highlight the value and benefits of our offerings.

Account Development:

• Develop and implement account plans to drive long-term growth and customer satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new enterprise prospects.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product management, to address customer requirements and provide feedback for product development.

Negotiation and Closing:

• Lead negotiations and close complex sales deals, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
• Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution, ensuring a smooth and successful process.

Market Insights and Reporting:

• Stay updated on AD industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in test and measurement.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, account status, and market feedback to management.
• Funnel development, forecasting and contribution to global account strategy in Salesforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters in Electronics or Communication Engineering or related fields.
• Experience: +5 years in customer facing roles, ideally in the A&D industry.
• Proven track record of success in selling test and measurement products and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of RF testing, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions.
• Experience in managing enterprise accounts and working with strategic customers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Capable of handling multiple projects and customer engagements simultaneously.
• Self-motivated problem solver and agile learner.
• Proactivity and hunter mentality to grow businesses.
• Temperament to navigate tough customer situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
• German passport is required.
• Business fluent German and English level is a must have.
