Job summary

Teyon is seeking a Senior 3D Animator to bring characters and enemies to life for a new action‑survival game in development for PC and consoles. You will craft high‑fidelity animations, contribute to cutscenes, and help shape gameplay animation systems within Unreal Engine 5.

You will work with a collaborative team across design and animation, applying motion capture data and advanced rig workflows to deliver polished, cinematic moments and seamless in‑game motion.

Qualifications

• Experience creating realistic animations for characters and objects.
• Proficiency in Maya, MotionBuilder or Blender for animation pipelines.
• Experience with Motion Capture data and root motion concepts.
• Good communication and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Create animations for player character and non-humanoid enemies.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior 3D Animator to help bring our characters and enemies to life. You will create and implement high-quality realistic animations, contribute to cutscenes, and collaborate on gameplay animation systems.

Duties

• Creating animations for player character and non-humanoid enemies
• Implementation of animations in Unreal Engine.
• Implementation of cutscenes inside Unreal Engine.
• Cooperation with designers and other animators.
• Cooperation in creating animation systems and procedural animation setups for Unreal Engine.

Required Skills

• The ability to create realistic animation for characters and objects.
• Proficient in 3D animation tools: Maya, Motion Builder, or Blender.
• Modifying and blending animation sequences.
• Working with animation rigs, layers, and pose libraries.Understanding of gameplay animation, Root motion animation, loops, and blends.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting attitude.
• Experience working with Motion Capture data.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Unreal Engine - Animation sequences, Montages, Animblueprints, Sequencer.
• Experience in working on facial animations.
• Experience in animation of a Third-Person Character.
• Experience in the direction and implementation of cutscenes.
• Knowledge of Blender in the field of animation.
