KWS LOCHOW GmbH is seeking a Seed Production Coordinator (m/f/d) for the Bergen/Wohlde area. The role supports the Production & Logistics team within the Cereals Business Unit to implement, organize and manage production processes and seed multiplication activities.

This full-time, permanent position involves coordinating hybrids and leading interdisciplinary teams. The candidate should hold an agricultural degree or comparable training with seed industry knowledge, plus willingness to travel

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in agricultural sciences, agricultural master or commercial training with relevant seed industry knowledge.
• Experience in arable farming or field trials is required or strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the seed industry is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ERP or goods management systems (e.g., SAP S/4 Hana) is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, and manage all production-related activities in the area of hybrid cereals.
• Meet internal and external customer requirements while considering costs and quality for high-level seed multiplication.
• Plan seed multiplication of pre-basic and basic seed; maintain and expand multiplier/processor network.
• Collaborate with national Production Research, international SeedTech teams and Breeding to optimize multiplication and production including trials and pilot productions.
• Contribute to cross-departmental IT projects and communication tools, such as SAP S/4 Hana.
• Support budget planning and calculation of production costs.
• Potentially take on personnel and functional responsibility for hybrids and lead interdisciplinary teams.

Your exciting responsibilities in this role:

Bring in your strengths:

• A completed degree in agricultural sciences, agricultural master or commercial training with relevant knowledge and experience in the seed industry
• Experience in arable farming or field trials
• Knowledge of the seed industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of processes in enterprise resource planning or goods management systems would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel seasonally
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working, combined with the ability to quickly understand complex system structures
