KWS LOCHOW GmbH, located in Wohlde-Bergen, seeks a Seed Production Coordinator (m/f/d) in full-time, permanent position. You will support the Production & Logistics team within the Cereals Business Unit, coordinating production processes and seed multiplication activities across borders.

The role requires a completed degree in agricultural sciences or related field, plus experience in farming/seed production, and strong German and English skills.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or degree in agricultural sciences or related field.
• Experience in arable farming or seed multiplication is advantageous.
• Knowledge of seed industry and ERP systems is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, and manage all production activities for hybrid cereals.
• Meet internal and external requirements while optimizing cost and quality in seed multiplication.
• Plan seed multiplication for pre-basic and basic seed; maintain multiplier network.
• Collaborate with national Production Research, international SeedTech, and Breeding teams.
• Support cross-department IT projects and SAP-related tools.
• Assist in budget planning and production cost calculations.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams and assume future personnel responsibilities.

In this exciting role, you will support the Production & Logistics team of our Cereals Business Unit in implementing, organizing and managing production processes and the associated seed multiplication activities.

Your exciting responsibilities in this role:

• Planning, organizing, and managing all production-related activities in the area of hybrid cereals
• Meeting the requirements of internal and external customers while considering cost and quality aspects in the area of high-level seed multiplication
• Planning seed multiplication of pre-basic and basic seed, including maintaining and expanding the network of multipliers and processors
• Collaborating with national Production Research, international SeedTech teams and Breeding to optimize multiplication and production, including trials, pilot productions and multiplication schemes
• Contributing to cross‑departmental IT projects and communication tools, such as SAP S/4 Hana etc.
• Supporting budget planning and the calculation of production costs
• Taking on personnel and functional responsibility for hybrids in the future, as well as leading interdisciplinary teams

Bring in your strengths:

• A completed degree in agricultural sciences, agricultural master or commercial training with relevant knowledge and experience in the seed industry
• Experience in arable farming or field trials
• Knowledge of the seed industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of processes in enterprise resource planning or goods management systems would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel seasonally
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working, combined with the ability to quickly understand complex system structures
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for development in a dynamic environment
