Job summary

NeuroNation in Berlin seeks a science-oriented professional to advance brain training and user engagement. The role blends neuroscience, psychology, digital health and gamification to improve training for millions of users.

You will work with universities and clinics on clinical studies, read scientific literature, apply user research and usability testing, and analyze vast user data to drive product decisions. German and English fluency, strong problem solving, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• You have a strong interest in brain training and self-improvement.
• At least 2 years of experience in neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, or related fields.
• Excellent written and oral communication in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Improve training experiences and exercises to make NeuroNation engaging.
• Incorporate latest neuroscience findings from papers to impact outcomes.
• Apply user research and usability testing to define features and visuals.

Your roles and responsibilities

• Improve the training experience and the exercises of our mobile and web app by making NeuroNation as effective and engaging as possible
• Continuously incorporate the latest findings from neuroscience by reading scientific papers and learning from concepts that have been proven to have impact on clinical outcomes
• Apply User Research and Usability Testing to learn how we can best help users and patients, and define useful features and visual concepts
• Collaborate with our scientific partners from various universities and clinics to run successful clinical trials with NeuroNation
• Analyse massive amounts of data continuously collected from millions of users to drive optimal decisions in product development
• Run A/B tests to experiment with new ideas
• Be your own user, assure the quality of the product, and become one of the experts for cognitive training
• Live with a Growth mindset - constantly look for learning opportunities for yourself and the team
• Work closely with colleagues from Marketing, Business Intelligence, Customer Care, and CRM
• Join the Growth and Product teams to collaboratively help millions of users and patients to stay fit

Your profile

Who you are and what you have done

• You have a deep personal interest in BRAIN TRAINING and SELF-IMPROVEMENT
• You have at least 2 years of working experience in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or related fields
• You are a passionate learner
• You have personal experience as a user of digital health, education, or productivity apps
• You have personal experience as a user of digital games
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both German and English.
• You have strong problem-solving skills
• You have a deep interest in analysing engagement, retention, and other behavioural data
• You are well-organised and have good project management skills. You can multi-task and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• You are a team-player and love to help out your colleagues.
• Bonus: You have experience with Games or Gamification
• Bonus: You have experience or talent with UX or Visual Design
• Bonus: You have knowledge of SQL, R, or Python
