Job summary

Bitburger Brewery Group sucht einen SAP ABAP Developer (Einsteiger bis Medior) zur Mitwirkung an der Digitalisierung der Logistikprozesse. Sie arbeiten an der EWM-Lösung in einer modernen S/4HANA-Umgebung und beraten Fachabteilungen in technischen Lösungen.

Sie bringen idealerweise ABAP- oder JavaScript-/TypeScript-Erfahrung mit oder möchten sich in ABAP-Entwicklung weiterentwickeln. Gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1) sind erforderlich, Englisch ist von Vorteil.

Qualifications

• Sie haben eine Ausbildung als IT-Fachkraft oder ein IT-Studium abgeschlossen.
• Idealerweise erste Erfahrungen in SAP ABAP bzw. SAP EWM oder Interesse an Logistikprozessen.
• Alternativ: Erfahrungen in JavaScript/TypeScript und Lernbereitschaft für ABAP-Entwicklung.

Responsibilities

• Mitwirkung bei der Digitalisierung der Logistikprozesse und Weiterentwicklung der EWM-Lösung in S/4HANA.
• Beratung der Fachabteilungen, Analyse von Anforderungen und Umsetzung passender Lösungen.
• Entwicklung und Erweiterung von Anwendungen im SAP-Umfeld sowie 2nd-Level-Support.
• Mitarbeit an SAP- und Digitalisierungsprojekten sowie Support bei der Bereitstellung von Querschnittsthemen.
• Weiterentwicklung des Fiori Launchpad und der integrierten Apps.

Our end-client, theBitburger Brewery Group, is looking for an SAP ABAP Developer (Entry-level, Junior or Medior) to join their team, specifically to help shape the digitalization of their logistics processes, improving their EWM solution in a S/4HANA environment

Requirements:

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist (m/f/d), a degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you have initial experience in SAP application development with ABAP and ABAP Objects and are interested in the supply chain processes of logistics.
• Alternatively, you have experience in software development with JavaScript, C#, TypeScript or similar technologies and would like to learn about SAP application development.
• SAP EWM Functional Consultants who would like to retrain in ABAP development would also be considered.
• You possess a good understanding of processes and abstract thinking skills, and you can translate technical requirements into technical solution concepts.
• You enjoy working independently, have a confident demeanor, and impress with clear communication.
• Fluent (C1) German language skills are a must have. Good English a plus.
• Proficiency in using standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Ideally, you already have experience using Jira or similar collaboration and project management tools.

The Role:

• You will actively shape the digitalization of their logistics processes and take responsibility for the conception, development, implementation and continuous improvement of their EWM solution in a modern S/4HANA environment.
• As a technical business partner, you will advise their specialist departments, analyze requirements, and develop suitable and sustainable solutions together with them.
• You will develop and extend applications in the SAP environment and provide support in the analysis and solution of more complex issues in 2nd-level support.
• You actively participate in SAP and digitalization projects and also provide support with cross-module topics as needed.
• You will continuously develop their Fiori Launchpad and the apps integrated within it.
