Job summary

Keylime Consultants is seeking a SAP HCM ABAP Developer to join an in-house team in Saxony. You will design, develop and support core HR processes within a hybrid SAP landscape, combining technical development with HR stakeholder collaboration.

The role emphasizes ABAP development and HCM integrations (SuccessFactors/ERP), with knowledge of SAP Fiori and OData services in an international environment where English is used daily.

Qualifications

• Detailed experience as ABAP developer.
• Practical experience with HCM integrations (SuccessFactors / ERP).
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 and OData services is advantageous.
• Comfortable in an international environment with strong English skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and document SAP HCM solutions in an S/4HANA-based environment.

• Collaborate with HR partners and IT on requirements, design and delivery.
• Take ownership of project management activities where relevant.
• Provide second-level support for HR technical services.
• Perform maintenance related to updates, patches and upgrades.

Job description

A successful family-owned German business in Saxony is on the lookout for a SAP HCM expert to join them as an ABAP Developer. This is a hands‑on in‑house role focused on the design, development and ongoing support of core HR processes within a hybrid SAP landscape. It is particularly suited to an ABAP specialist who enjoys combining technical development with close collaboration with HR stakeholders, while supporting both on‑premise and cloud‑connected solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and document SAP HCM solutions supporting core HR processes in an S/4HANA-based environment
• Build and maintain HCM interfaces using SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration and related connectivity tools, working alongside the wider integration team
• Partner closely with HR business partners, key users and IT colleagues on requirements gathering, workshops, solution design and delivery
• Take ownership of (or contribute to) project management activities for relevant initiatives
• Provide second‑level support for HR technical services
• Carry out maintenance activities related to software updates, patches and system upgrades

Requirements

• Detailed experience as ABAP developer
• Practical experience with HCM integrations, for example involving SuccessFactors, identity management or ERP systems
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAPUI5 and OData services is advantageous
• Comfortable working in an international environment with strong English language skills
